Contact us

One address, for everything: bugs, questions, safety reports, account deletion, press, and anything else:

support@hyperspacemediagroup.com

Plyr2 is made by Hyperspace Media Group. If you are writing about a problem in the app, it helps enormously if you include your first name as it appears on your profile, the device you are using (for example "iPhone 14, iOS 18"), and what you expected to happen instead.

Reporting someone

The fastest route is in the app itself, because it attaches the conversation for us automatically:

We review reports of objectionable content and abusive behaviour and act on them within 24 hours, removing the content and ejecting the person who posted it where that is warranted. You can also email us at the address above if you would rather not use the in-app flow, or if the problem is with an account you can no longer reach.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from the Me tab in the app. You do not need to ask us and you do not need a reason. It removes your profile, your photos (from our storage as well as our database), your messages, your matches and your swipe history.

One exception, and we would rather be straight about it: if a conversation has been reported to us, that conversation is retained as evidence of the report even after an account is deleted. It exists so a person who abuses somebody cannot erase what they did by deleting their account. See the Privacy Policy for how long we keep everything else.

If you cannot get into the app to do it, email us and we will delete it for you.

Common questions

I never got my verification code.

Codes arrive by SMS and can take a minute. Check that the number you entered is the one in your hand, including the country code. If it still hasn't arrived, email us. Some carriers filter automated messages, and we can tell from our side whether it was sent.

Why is my photo still pending?

Every photo is checked before it goes live. Most clear automatically in seconds; anything the automatic check isn't certain about waits for a human, which can take longer. We would rather make you wait than publish something nobody looked at.

My deck is empty.

Plyr2 is new, and during the test period there may genuinely be very few people near you. Widening your distance setting helps. So does checking back, because the population is growing.

Do you sell my data?

No, and we don't plan to. The app also contains no third-party analytics or tracking. Ads are a different question: there are none today, and we intend to add them at general release. When we do, advertisers still won't get your profile data, and the Privacy Policy will be updated before the first ad appears. That policy also lists exactly what we collect and the short list of services that ever see any of it.
