Terms of Service
Effective 16 August 2026. Plyr2 is operated by Hyperspace Media Group.
These terms are the agreement between you and Hyperspace Media Group ("we", "us") for the use of Plyr2. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not, don't create one, and if you already have, you can delete it from the Me tab at any time.
1. You must be 18
Plyr2 is an adults-only dating service. You confirm that you are 18 or older, that the date of birth you give us is your real one, and that you are legally permitted to use a service like this where you live. Accounts found to belong to minors are deleted.
2. Your account
- One account per person. It is yours; don't share it or let somebody else use it.
- Your profile has to be about you. Real photos of yourself, a real first name, a real date of birth. Impersonating another person, real or invented, is grounds for removal.
- Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think somebody else has it.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
There is no tolerance on Plyr2 for objectionable content or for abusive users. Content that violates these terms is removed, and accounts that post it are ejected from the service. We review reports of objectionable content and abusive behaviour and act on them within 24 hours.
You may not post, send, or upload:
- Nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit imagery.
- Anything sexual involving minors, or any content depicting a minor in a dating context. This is reported to the authorities, not merely removed.
- Harassment, threats, stalking, hate speech, or abuse directed at anyone, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
- Violent, gory, or graphic content.
- Content that is illegal where you are, or that promotes illegal activity.
- Solicitation: prostitution, escort services, or the sale of any goods or services.
- Scams, fraud, phishing, requests for money, cryptocurrency pitches, or any attempt to move somebody to another platform to defraud them.
- Spam, bulk messaging, bots, scraping, or automated use of any kind.
- Another person's private information, or intimate images of anyone, shared without their consent.
- Commercial promotion, recruitment, or advertising.
You also may not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the service, or use it to collect data about other users.
4. Reporting, blocking, and what we do
Every conversation can be reported and every user can be blocked, from inside the app. Blocking is immediate and mutual: neither of you will see the other again anywhere in the app. Blocking somebody does not withdraw a report you have already filed. The report stands.
When something is reported to us we review it within 24 hours. Depending on what we find, we remove the content, suspend the account, or eject the person permanently. Reported conversations are retained as evidence, and are retained even if the reported account is deleted, so that deleting an account cannot be used to destroy the record of what happened.
Photos are screened before they ever appear. Anything the automated checks do not clear is reviewed by a person before it can be published.

5. Your content stays yours
Your photos and words remain yours. You grant us only the limited licence we need to run the service: to store your content, and to display it to the other users the app is meant to show it to. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from the retention of reported conversations described above and copies sitting in encrypted backups until those roll over. We do not use your photos in advertising or promotion.
6. Love credits
Love credits are a feature inside the app. They are not money, they have no cash value, they cannot be exchanged for money, and they cannot be transferred off the service or sold. We may adjust how they work. If your account ends, any balance ends with it.
7. What we promise, and what we don't
We will never sell paid visibility. No boosts, no "featured" placement, no pay-to-be-seen. Not as a policy we could quietly reverse. The feature does not exist in the product. Make a profile and everyone you could match with sees it.
Advertising. Plyr2 shows no ads today. We expect to display advertising in the generally released app, and by using the service you accept that it may contain ads. Two things do not change when it arrives: advertisers are not given your profile data, and match ranking is never for sale. The Privacy Policy will be updated to name the ad provider before the first ad appears.
Beyond that: Plyr2 is provided as it is. We do not promise you will meet anyone, that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every person on it is who they claim to be. We screen photos and we act on reports, but we do not conduct criminal background checks on users, and we cannot verify anyone's identity or intentions for you.
8. Meeting people is your own risk
Use your judgement. Meet in public the first time, tell somebody where you are going, and do not send money to anybody you have met here. Requests for money are the single most common thing scammers do on dating apps, and no genuine match will make one. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, online and off.
9. This is early software
Plyr2 is in testing. Things will break, features will change, and data may occasionally be lost. If you are here through TestFlight or a beta invite, that is doubly true, and you should not treat the app as a durable archive of anything.
10. Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from the Me tab; it takes effect immediately. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, that puts other users at risk, or where we are required to. Where it is possible and appropriate, we will tell you why.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Plyr2, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us, which at present is nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case they do not apply to you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use Plyr2 after that means you accept the new version.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located there have jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally, which these terms do not take away from you.
